Dr. Temidayo AKENROYE, is a non-resident Research Fellow at Africa Polling Institute (API). A well-groomed social researcher with over 15 years of experience in survey methods, techniques & sampling, as well as questionnaire design, field management and action research. His research has been published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals such as: International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management; Journal of Enterprising Culture; Int. J. Procurement Management; International Journal of Business and Social Science; The Public Sector Innovation Journal; International Area Studies Review; International Journal of Project Organization and Management; and Journal of Public Procurement amongst others.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Akenroye had more than a decade of professional experience, having worked in senior management positions across several NHS organisations in the UK, and was engaged as an international consultant to design and pilot procurement interventions for linking smallholder farmers to School Feeding Programs in Kenya, Mali and Ghana”. The project was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and co-ordinated by SNV, Netherlands Development Organisation, USA.
He obtained his PhD in Supply Chain Sustainability from the University of Salford; and earned two master’s degrees, one in Sustainability Leadership, from the prestigious University of Cambridge and the other in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from the University of Salford. He is currently Senior Lecturer at the Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom.
