Dr Festus Osagu

Dr. OSAGU is currently a Research Fellow (Economy & Markets) at Africa Polling Institute (API).  He is also a non- resident Senior Research Consultant at the Center for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL) University of Ibadan. A result-driven economist with over 8years experience in public policy and social research, macroeconomic modeling, economic and social development, public financial management, resource economics and development finance. Festus has consulted widely to both local and international organizations including World Bank, DFiD, ECA, SPDC, SOAS, FOSTER, BoF, DAAD, amongst others.  His articles have been published in conferences, local and international journals. He is a member of the Nigeria Association of Energy Economics (NAEE), the International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE) and the Association of Graduates Economics (AGES). Dr. Osagu holds B.Sc Economics (DELSU), M.Sc Economics and PhD Economics from Nigeria’s premier University, the University of Ibadan, and he holds a Chartered Certificate in Management. Prior to joining API, he served as a Research Fellow at Center for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL) and was also an Associate Lecturer, Department of Economics ((DLC), University of Ibadan.
