OGBU, COLLINS

Collins is currently an Assistant Research Fellow at the Africa Polling Institute (API). A Political Economist from the University of Abuja, He has to his credit, local and international academic publications some of which are abstracted on Google Scholar, Academia.edu and Research Gate. He was a Program and Research Officer at Centre for the Development of Institution. He has provided Research and Capacity-building assistance to Rift Valley Institute, Kenya, YIAGA Africa, Federal Capital Development Authority, University of Abuja amongst others. He takes great pleasure in researching on Governance, Democracy and Development. He was also a Program and Research Officer at the Centre for Development of Institution (CDI), Abuja, where he designed and tested key indicators for measuring systemic corruption in the Nigerian Public Sector. He is also a Fellow of the International Institute for Policy, Research and Development Strategy (IIPRDS), University of Calabar. He is a regular analyst on Africa This Week, a weekly Programme aired by Radio Nigeria. He earned a Bachelor of Political Science and a Masters in Political Economy & Development Studies from the University of Abuja.
